ERSA is partnering with Turquoise Training and Consultancy to bring this seminar on Universal Credit Migration to Frontine Advisers.
Seminar summary
By 2023 more than 11 million adults will move on to Universal Credit. More than 9 million of those adults will receive, on average, £1,000 per year more or less than they would have done under the old style benefits. With huge gains and losses to be made in the move on to Universal Credit, it is imperative that people on benefits get the right advice at the right time. The Commons Work and Pensions Select Committee has warned that poor advice has already cost claimants thousands of pounds and will continue to do so. Starting a job at the wrong time, becoming self-employed without a good plan or changing family circumstances could all trigger a move on to Universal Credit and a possible huge loss of income.
Make sure your organisation is aware of the challenges that are here right now and what is coming up in the near future. Your clients could lose out by thousands of pounds with the wrong advice so make sure you have the latest information at hand.
