Kim Pattison is Director of Marketing & Communications at NCFE, a leading educational charity with business operations in Awarding, Assessment and Learning Technologies and Resources.  Kim has enjoyed a successful career in employment and skills for over 20 years, first joining the public, private, voluntary sector provider Working Links, back in 2001. Her experience spans a number of the larger providers of employability & skills solutions, but has always been within the marketing, communications or public affairs specialisms. This has enabled Kim to be involved with ERSA since its inception in 2005, previously being Chair of the CPIN forum many years ago, during her time at Interserve Learning & Employment.

Kim joined NCFE in October 2020, and is delighted to bring the organisation and its ideas around stitching together the employment and skills agendas to the ERSA table.

Mary Pooley is Director of Strategy, Policy and Insight at NCFE, a leading educational charity with business operations in Awarding, Assessment and Learning Technologies and Resources. Before joining NCFE in February 2021 Mary spent over 30 years in Whitehall. This was mainly in the Department for Education working on schools policy but also latterly with the Civil Contingencies Secretariat working on No Deal Exit crisis management arrangements. Having spent so long negotiating the hidden wiring of Government, Mary is really enjoying being part of an organisation with a purpose to promote and advance learning, creating a fairer and more inclusive society for all. Mary will play an instrumental role in achieving this purpose through looking at how we connect the seemingly disparate agendas of employability and skills, bringing her experience with Government departments and their decision making to bear.
