We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager who is confident, enthusiastic and committed to the future growth and sustainability of the charity. The role is fixed term contract, part time, home-based with some regional travel and flexible hours.

EmployabilityUK is a registered charity regulated by the Charity Commission. Its mission is to provide an employer engagement solution to schools and colleges, bringing business and education together to enhance the aspirations, opportunities and career prospects of enthusiastic young people.

The Programme Manager will take responsibility for the running of various ‘Employability Skills’ programmes. To manage the customer interface within an assigned region or location(s) ensuring a high profile, consistent and effective day-to-day running of the programmes, which are primarily designed to enhance the life skills and work-readiness of young people.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support a range of employability skills programmes. You will be responsible for developing new partnerships and the delivery of programmes. You will work closely with colleagues and volunteers to implement a delivery plan and targets to ensure the charity’s agreed strategic goals and objectives are met or exceeded.

We are especially keen to hear from candidates with strong management skills and experience of delivering high quality training programmes.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Services and the wider team on all aspects of :

  • Programme delivery and management
  • Management of volunteers
  • Quality assurance
  • Data management and reporting
