About our Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Digital Tutor to join our Liverpool team. Our Tutors plan, prepare and teach a range of knowledge and skills to support learners who desire to work in the security industry. In addition, our tutors support learners throughout their learning journey with vocational and employability skills, which include English, Maths, Digital and personal development.

You will provide valuable input to our quality approved schemes of work, session plans and delivery resources as required for classroom led sector and employer led courses. Your key task is the delivery of quality facilitation, teaching, learning and assessment and that encourage and motivate learners to remain on provision and progress into employment.

Based from our Newcastle office, there will be a requirement to provide support across our North East locations, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is therefore essential for this role. We are open to receiving applications from individuals looking for part time and/or job share hours for this role.

We offer flexible working hours and welcome applications from candidates looking to work traditional working patterns, and/or evening and/or weekend options. All flexible working hours options will be discussed further at interview.

The skills you will bring

You should have relevant and recent industry experience or a good working knowledge of our subject areas. In addition you should have experience of embedding maths, English, Equality, Diversity and British Values.

You will hold a Level 4 Teaching qualification, Assessor Award and Level 2 Functional Skills or equivalent as a minimum. You will be able to display a range of teaching methods to engage with learners with barriers to employment and training. You should be a confident communicator who is able to build valuable relationships and be happy working to and delivering against targets.
