Location: Truro (with flexibility for hybrid working)

Salary: up to £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About us: Education Development Trust is an education charity that exists to transform lives by improving education around the world. We work collaboratively with national and local governments, schools and other partners to design and deliver sustainable solutions to improve education.

About the role – Assist – One and All is a Cornwall Council Shared Prosperity Funded employability programme covering Cornwall and the Isle’s of Scilly.  The Key Worker will deliver support to refugees across Cornwall both virtually and face to face; delivery venues will include a variety of Community Hubs, Jobcentre Plus offices, libraries etc.  Our participant journey is designed to offer tailored support to the individual, the Key Worker will ensure that the participant is supported to achieve progression.   This role offers the opportunity to work innovatively and flexibly to open up opportunities for refugees who have chosen to settle in Cornwall.  Using a diagnostic assessment at the start of the journey the Key Worker will be able to identify the actions required to enable the participant to meet their goals.-  Linking with employers, training providers and other support services to ensure the participants needs are met.
