Location: Reading, Sheffield, or Gateshead (expectation to go into your local office 1-2 times a month, self-funded)

We are currently recruiting a Coordinator in our Employability and Careers Team. The Coordinator will work within the National Careers Service contract to provide a wraparound customer journey function delivering appropriate information to aid and document customer progression.
Job objectives:
- Use relevant reports to inform appropriate customer interaction to support customer progression. Identifying varying customer groups requiring information specific to their journey e.g., job vacancy data sent to customers looking at careers within that sector, Communication methods include by telephone, emails, and social media accounts.
- Provide support to the careers adviser team to track progress and outcomes of customers to maximise income opportunities. This may include, for example, telephone, email and text.
- Use reports to identify customers eligible to re-engage with the service and use a wide range of methods to promote the service to them.
- Support and contribute to the team’s social media accounts, promoting our services, in line with branding/funder guideline.
- Support processes implemented by the Area Managers to optimise income and mitigate lost revenue, for example, non-priority to priority customer ratios.
- Be responsible for adhering to both local and the Corporate Safeguarding policy and procedures aimed at promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and at-risk adults and attend mandatory child protection and/or adult protection safeguarding and prevent training.
- Achieve a range of targets and quality measures as decided by the Area Manager.
- Commit to training and CPD as necessary to support a high standard of delivery of the National careers service.
- The post may involve some travel. It may be necessary, on occasion, to work outside standard office hours.
