ERSA welcomes the public consultation, opened today, on future employment support by the Scottish Government.
The consultation will seek views on how future employability services should work after devolution in 2017. It is looking to hear from individuals, their families and communities, as well as key stakeholder bodies.
ERSA sits on the steering group for the consultation process and will be working closely with the Scottish Government during this time, sharing views and learning from ERSA’s Scottish Employment Support Provider Network.
Kirsty McHugh, ERSA, Chief Executive, said:
‘We’re delighted that early work is starting on the shape of future employment services. The Scottish Government has the opportunity to design a really exciting service which integrates support around jobseekers. We need as many views as possible on how best this can be achieved.’
