Due to the Covid 19 pandemic the DWP have asked for prime providers of the WHP to support with a national employer engagement initiative. This project will cover all contract package areas throughout England and Wales and involve the establishing of relationships with employers to provide recruitment support during and post lockdown situations to ensure that employment opportunities are made available to all DWP provisions. The project will be an extension to the DWP National Employer Partnership Team provision (NEPT) which has reduced due to other priorities within DWP.
As part of this function there has been an employer portal developed that is managed by the 5 national prime providers in partnership, which enables employers to easily identify provision and contact points for support with vacancies and recruitment. This portal will be advertised and marketed by the prime providers and will also feature as a link on the employer support function on the .gov website. The portal will automatically direct employers to the relevant prime provider geographically who will engage with the employer, identify their needs and manage the response and applications to the vacancies. The prime provider will also share these opportunities with all other DWP provision within their geographical locations to make sure that all possible candidates have access to opportunities.
The employer portal can be found at https://www.dwppartners.co.uk/
