Sam joined ERSA in June 2026 with a background in public services and commissioning policy. Sam has worked at the intersection of the voluntary and public sectors and in infrastructure bodies since 2018, including at NCVO and CVAA (the Consortium of Voluntary Adoption Agencies). She obtained her MA in International Relations from King’s College London and her BA in Latin American Studies and Anthropology from Washington University in St Louis. She is a trustee of her local foodbank and has volunteered with charities Body & Soul and The Conservation Volunteers for many years.
