The DWP are actively looking for organisations to participate, see more via The DWP Employment Data Lab or get in touch directly with the team via

The aim of the service is to carry out impact evaluations on employment-related interventions provided by organisations like yours. The service involves participating organisations sharing their data on an intervention with the Data Lab team (in DWP) so that it can be analysed and evaluated and a report shared back.

The aim is to build understanding on what works in helping people into employment.

Read the Employment Data Lab guidance for information on how how to access the Employment Data Lab, and detail on the methodology and background.

ERSA hosted an event alongside DWP, Resurgo and Impetus on 6 February 2023
Resurgo was the first organisation to go through the DWP’s Employment Data Lab, evaluating the effectiveness of the charity’s Spear Programme, which works with young people who are NEET. Hear from the team at Resurgo and Data Labs about the process and what they’d like you to know about getting involved.
