Action West London

We are a long-standing West London Charity whose main aim is to focus on poverty alleviation through Employment, Education and Enterprise. We have a very strong track record in Job Brokerage with various customer groups including Refugees, NEETs including SEND, Troubled Families, Lone Parents, Careers and Ex Offenders, we also run a project to support Black Young Men who are most disadvantaged in the labour market at all levels. We also run employability programmes, ESOL and support for parents with young children with ESOL need. We have very strong partnerships links particularly with employers. We also run Acton Street Market to help people into self employment routeways.

Cardinal Hume Centre

The employment team is part of the Cardinal Hume Advice Centre. We work with unemployed people, 16+, living in Westminster. We also assist those in low paid, P/T work to move onto F/T work. many of our clients are migrants (although not exclusively) and are homeless of at risk of homelessness. We provide 121 support and run employability workshops. We are a small organisation, so are particularly interested in working in partnership with other organisations on contracts that we would otherwise be unable to bid for independently.

Do IT Solutions

Use of the Do-IT Profiler is being used by a number of organisations including homeless organisations, providers, specialist employment providers for into work and apprenticeship in screening for neurodiversity, wellbeing and employability skills.

16-25yrs employment IAG and welfare/wellbeing support. Neurodiversity challenges and inclusive design for access. Mental health challenges and inclusion advocacy.

Framework

Framework delivers employment related support services as well as health, housing, support, treatment and care. Our employment service include delivery of the Work and Health Programme in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and we are the lead for BBO in D2N2.

Gloucestershire County Council

Forwards supported employment service for disabled people/people with health conditions across all ages including in schools/colleges  AIM Supported internships for young people with EHCPs  Gloucestershire GEM Project – BBO funded by ESF/NLCF helping people across all vulnerable groups delivered by 30 VCS organisations  IPS Mental Health Service – commissioners, delivered by MH Trust  Other projects in development.  Our aim is to help people who are furthest from the labour market find sustainable employment.
